Below, you’ll find thoughtful guidance for presenting and preserving each kind of artwork we offer, from originals to prints, so it can be lived with and loved for years to come.
OPEN EDITION PRINTS
Available framed or unframed, depending on your selection at checkout.
Framed prints use lightweight, shatter-resistant acrylic (not glass), ideal for kids’ spaces and safer shipping. Some prints may not be offered with framing options due to local restrictions.
Reflection note: Acrylic may have a mild reflective quality under direct light.
LIMITED EDITION PRINTS
All canvas prints are available stretched and framed, simply select your preferred option from the dropdown menu when ordering.
Paper prints are shipped rolled in a tube for safe delivery, as we don’t ship glass to minimise the risk of damage in transit.
If you’re based in Perth (Australia), we offer local framing and pickup options for paper prints. Please get in touch for a custom quote.
ORIGINAL PAINTINGS
All original paintings are professionally stretched and float-framed in our choice of walnut, natural timber, colour-stained, or hand-painted finishes. Each artwork arrives ready to hang, thoughtfully framed to complement the work. As every frame is carefully selected to suit the individual painting, we’re unable to offer alternative framing options.
WHAT TO ASK YOUR FRAMER
PAPER PRINTS
Whether to include a mat is a personal preference, but we typically recommend no mat, as it allows the artwork to sit edge-to-edge within the frame, creating a more immersive effect.
Choose non-reflective glass (or UV-protective acrylic if shipping or weight is a concern) to minimise glare and protect the artwork over time.
We prefer frames made from natural or stained timber in tones like natural oak, walnut, or black japan, these provide warmth and timeless contrast without overpowering the work.
CANVAS PRINTS
Your canvas print will first need to be professionally stretched over a timber frame.
From there, you can decide whether to add a float frame, which adds a refined border and gives the artwork a clean, gallery-style finish.
As with paper prints, we recommend natural or stained timbers, natural oak, walnut, or black japan all pair beautifully with our colour palettes.
OUR FRAMING PARTNER
We work closely with our partner framer located in Fremantle, Western Australia. They specialise in handcrafted, sustainably sourced timber frames, and offer both classic and contemporary options, including custom colour-matched frames and rounded corner profiles. Every frame is carefully hand-stained or painted to suit the artwork and the space it lives in.
